BeaPro terms, privacy and safety

These terms apply to use of the BeaPro platform. If a translation differs, the Latvian version prevails.

Terms of use

1. BeaPro’s role

BeaPro is a listings, learning-requests and contact platform. BeaPro does not provide the lessons described by users, is not the provider’s employer or agent and does not become a party to the service agreement between users. Users agree the lesson content, time, place, safety conditions and payment directly.

2. Registration and user status

An account may be created by a person aged 18 or over using accurate information. Users are responsible for activity on their accounts. Listings can be viewed without an account, but an account is required to receive a publisher’s contact details, create a contact reference or leave a verified review. Publishers must state whether they act as private individuals or as economic operators/companies. Commercial providers must comply with consumer, tax, licensing and professional requirements.

3. Listings and safety

The publisher confirms that the description, price, experience, images and expected outcome are accurate; that they have the right to use uploaded content; and that the activity is lawful and carried out safely. Regulated activities require the relevant qualification, permit or licence. Before publication, BeaPro may automatically check text, images, spam indicators and technical security signals. Non-compliant content is not published, and the user receives a reason and an opportunity to correct it.

4. BeaPro prices and payments

The payment currency is euro (EUR). Paid listings, credits, plans and Featured upgrades can be paid through the MakeCommerce payment platform (Maksekeskus AS) using available Latvian online-bank payments — Swedbank, SEB, Citadele and Luminor — or Visa/Mastercard. When paying through an internet bank, confirm the payment and click “Return to merchant” to complete the order. Payment data required to complete the transaction is transferred to the licensed payment institution Maksekeskus AS. The contract takes effect after successful payment and the digital publication service is activated immediately; there is no physical delivery. If BeaPro cannot provide the purchased publication service, the user will be informed and the amount paid will be refunded as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days. The first listing is free under the offer shown at publication. The first 300 approved publishers may receive the Founder offer while available. Nothing renews automatically unless clearly stated and accepted before purchase. The fee pays for publication and visibility; BeaPro does not guarantee views, enquiries, customers or earnings. Deleting a listing or account, ending a plan, receiving no enquiries or not using the service does not by itself create a right to a refund for publication time already supplied. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

5. Agreement between users

The publisher and interested user agree the lesson and payment themselves. Before agreeing, they should confirm in writing the price, duration, location, materials, cancellation terms, required qualifications and safety conditions. Mandatory consumer rights cannot be excluded by these terms.

6. Intellectual property

Users retain ownership of their content and grant BeaPro a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, technically adapt, display and promote that content solely to operate and market BeaPro while the listing or account is active, plus a reasonable backup-retention period. This licence does not allow BeaPro to sell a user’s work as a separate product.

7. Suspension, termination and data

BeaPro may immediately restrict content where there is a safety, fraud or legal-infringement risk. In other cases BeaPro will state the reason and, where applicable, allow an explanation. A listing owner may pause, end or permanently delete a listing from their account without administrator approval. A deleted listing is removed from public view immediately; its description and images are deleted, while only minimal records needed for payment accounting, a dispute, security or legal compliance may be retained. Users may close an account through the account privacy tools or by contacting the operator. Before termination, professional users can obtain their profile, listing and review data in a reasonable machine-readable format, except where data must be retained by law or to protect another person’s rights.

8. Liability and disputes

BeaPro is responsible for operating its platform to the extent required by law, but does not guarantee a user’s identity, qualifications, availability, quality of work or completion of a transaction unless specifically stated otherwise. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Users should first try to resolve disputes by writing to the operator; consumers may contact Latvia’s Consumer Rights Protection Centre or a competent out-of-court dispute body. Latvian law applies without limiting mandatory consumer protection.

9. Changes

Professional users will receive reasonable advance notice of material changes. An urgent change required by law, fraud prevention or cybersecurity may take effect sooner, with the reason explained.

We process account and profile data, authentication identifiers, listings, learning requests, offers and images, contact details and selected communication channels, contact/reputation records, reviews, reports, consents, payment status, technical security logs and communications. Contact details are not public; for learning requests they are disclosed to the parties only after an offer is selected.

To understand whether the site is usable and where people need help, BeaPro records limited first-party interaction events such as a homepage visit, search, zero-result search and the start of publishing or registration. Search text is not stored; the technical visitor identifier is one-way hashed and reporting is used in aggregate.

Purposes and legal bases: providing accounts, listings and contacts — performance of a contract; security, fraud prevention, moderation, service improvement and defence of legal claims — legitimate interests; accounting, tax, law-enforcement requests and platform obligations — legal obligation; marketing and non-essential cookies — consent.

Data may be shared with hosting, authentication, email, anti-bot, content-safety screening, customer support, payment and professional-advisory providers, and with authorities when required by law. Only the text or image being checked and technically necessary information are sent to the safety-screening provider.

Payment processing is provided by the https://makecommerce.lv/ payment platform. Our company therefore transfers the personal data required to execute payments to the platform owner, Maksekeskus AS.

Retention: active-account data — while the account operates; basic deleted-account data and security logs — normally up to 24 months; legal and accounting records — for the period required by law; rejected reports — up to 3 years; evidence of consent — while consent is active and up to 3 years after withdrawal. Specific data may be kept longer for a dispute or legal obligation.

First-party interaction events are intended to be retained for no longer than 13 months unless a security incident or legal obligation requires a longer period.

You may access, correct or erase data, restrict processing, object, receive portable data and withdraw consent. You may complain to Latvia’s Data State Inspectorate. BeaPro uses automated content-safety screening to approve, request changes to or reject a listing or learning request. This is not a guarantee of a provider’s qualifications or of legality. The user receives a reason and may report an error or submit an appeal.

Cookie policy

BeaPro currently uses only technically necessary authentication, security and session tools. Analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies will not be enabled without a separate choice and the ability to withdraw consent. Browser storage is not used for hidden profiling.

Listing and safety rules

  • Describe clearly what you will teach, the duration, price, expected outcome and what is included.
  • Do not publish discriminatory, sexual, violent, fraudulent, dangerous or illegal content, or offers involving weapons, drugs, counterfeits or other prohibited goods or services.
  • Do not impersonate another person or use someone else’s images, logos, text or trade marks without permission.
  • Medical, financial, legal, electrical, construction, transport, weapons, childcare and other regulated offers may be posted only with the required qualifications and safety measures.
  • Violence is prohibited in animal training. Sports and active-leisure lessons must state risks, required equipment, insurance and age/health restrictions.
  • Duplicates, keyword stuffing, misleading prices and artificial accounts may be restricted. The one-free-first-listing offer may not be bypassed using multiple accounts.
  • A learning request must describe a skill and desired learning outcome, not ask for work to be completed. Phone numbers, email addresses, links and social-media contacts are prohibited in requests and offers; they are disclosed only to the selected parties.

Review and reputation policy

A review may be submitted only by a user who contacted the provider through BeaPro about the relevant listing and whose contact was confirmed by the provider. One review is allowed per contact. Ratings must reflect a genuine experience. Purchased, exchanged, self-authored or retaliatory reviews and personal data are prohibited. Publishers may reply; both sides may report a breach. The criteria for Top, stars and other badges are applied consistently and must not imply a licence or BeaPro guarantee.

Search, ranking and Featured listings

The main organic-ranking factors are relevance to the search and category, listing quality and completeness, recency, verified-review rating, reliability and response indicators. A paid Featured listing is clearly labelled, may receive a distinctive frame and rotates through sponsored positions in the relevant category. Payment does not guarantee contacts, bookings, income or a higher review score.

Report illegal or non-compliant content

Identify the specific content, the reason and sufficient supporting facts. We will provide a reference number, review the report and send the decision to the supplied email where permitted by law. Knowingly false reports are prohibited.

Right of withdrawal and model form

A consumer who buys a BeaPro digital listing or Featured service under a distance contract normally has a 14-day right of withdrawal. If the consumer expressly asks for performance to begin during that period, a proportionate amount may be payable for the part already supplied. If the service is fully performed with prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right will be lost, the withdrawal right may end.
